That DPF face looks mostly like oil intrusion. - How much oil does the engine consume in 15,000 miles?.

The face of that DOC however er looks like that might be coolant intrusion under the layer of soot (white powder). Is the engine consuming any coolant?. Pressurize the coolant system to 20-psi and let the vehicle sit over night. Check the egr cooler for seepage on its ends the next day to ensure it is not seeping coolant.

Have them taken to a stgealers$it that has the proper equipment and not one of those liquid garbage cleaning machines.

It needs a proper baking, De-ashing, an air-knife run on it to remove all the ash, and then to be properly flow-tested to ensure it is not cracked. also if it is more than 450k miles old them its time for new ones.
here is the proper machine: http://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?t...5#pid50975

That is a lot of buildup for only one month. Maybe someone did not clean it properly the first time?.

Also do an injector leak test on the engine too. Make sure it is not bleeding fuel and making excess soot all the time. Make sure the EGR valve is not sticking open too.
