RE: 2021 MX13 pac car dpf and scr efficiency issues in need of egr tuneup Errors are back. Tomorrow I can read fault codes and see what are the issues. I will pull scr injector and take a look inside where it is spraying (to see if there is still build up from scr). Maybe going to wash injector in ultrasonic (going to wire up five leg relay oscillator circuit to cycle on off), before buying new one. It does not take much time to change scr injector so it is worth giving a try before spending more than 2k retail price on new genuine one. On the other hand aftermarket junk costs 35, I am not going to try it since I am 99.9% sure that the old part is better functioning than new junk. Aftermarket parts roulette is like casino - the house always wins (aftermarket engine internals/sensors parts analogy is that the part always FAILS). Little update. That second truck that had only IMAP replaced had egr cooler and def injector hole cleaned last week too. The first truck that had proper tune up done has had dash light up like a christmas tree - engine fault, steering fault, central computer fault. Readed fault codes. There are mostly can related codes stored and active code for tacho speed sensor. Not uncommon for those to fail. Def quality sensor fault flagged too. Things are going to get expensive. Should try cleaning before replacing. | |||
