RE: Hub oil lube question Doing OTR, you should be checking your hub oil levels and condition every chance you get, visually and with a temp gun to spot potential bearing issues, especially with grease-packed hubs. Assuming you're removing the hubcaps it definitely won't hurt to check bearing end-play too and/or torque spec for the hubs equipped with the cone spacer, and reset the preload per manufacturer specs if the bearings aren't chewed up. Especially if you're seeing irregular tire wear. | |||
