Mineral Rotella 15w40 will work just fine.

5w40 will break down faster towards base viscosity which is 5w on 5w40 compared to 15w on 15w40 .

Well I made little mistake with that viscosity assumption, in my area they sell 5w40 Rotella T6, BUT it can be either 10w30 or 15w40 or 5w40 or 0w40...
