CM 870 exhaust manifold is leaking at seals. Want to replace the EGR section with non

Was thaught by Rawze to wet sand the flanges with a sanding stone until any high/low spots are gone. I found that scotchbite pads from an autoparts store works very well on getting the mating surfaces clean. Also when tightening the manifold to hit the slip joint ends on the center section and tighten a few times until they're snug, then start applying torque, Then repeat the above and retorqing.

There's an aftermarket one that was mentioned on here awhile ago, but it was 50/50 if the slip joints leaked or not. Better to buy an OEM rear section and tap the hole into it. Forgot the thread pitch off the top of my head. Also found one of $10 Amazon plastic brake line bending tools make a really clean bend out of the exhaust pressure line.
