- It could be programming related, and it could be other issues.

2007 was a transitional year for a lot of vehicle makers ... It being a 2007 model, it could be a CM870? or a CM871? engine (or something else). What is the engine ser#?... the ESN#?

Also, are you saying that it revs up on its own at idle?. - If so then that is a specific issue and may not be a problem with the programming, but who knows for sure without troubleshooting it.

and yeas.. as soon as you can, you need to get a computer hooked up to that thing and copy the program out so that it can be reviewed for issues and to ensure its not eating the guts out of the engine over time (causing progressive damage).
