Also, are you saying that it revs up on its own at idle?. - If so then that is a specific issue and may not be a problem with the programming, but who knows for sure without troubleshooting it.

and yeas.. as soon as you can, you need to get a computer hooked up to that thing and copy the program out so that it can be reviewed for issues and to ensure its not eating the guts out of the engine over time (causing progressive damage).

engine date says 2006 so fairly sure its a cm870.
engine number is 79193333

I should have been more specific, its while driving. sometimes full rev is 1900, sometimes its 1700. its completely random and doesnt seem to be per gear. or even specific to high or low range.

i have been searching for the software, so far any download i find is littered with trojans and other terrible things.

Is it possible to get an insite7 and just have it tuned from scratch, from someone here that is reputable?
