We don’t really have too many people that do the cleanings around here especially Cummins dealershixts but let me see what I can do and I’ll post some pics. What about the one very end “filter” I don’t know what they call that one but it’s the one that the outlet pipe connects to. Do I need to have that one cleaned also? Thank you Rawze!!

your likely talking about the SCR can... an inspection to ensure it looks nice and clean on its face is typically all it needs,.. as it does not come apart. they typically wear out after 600k+ miles or so though and start becomming problematic, causing high NOx alarms, etc. (along with all the NOx sensors needing replacing by then too).

You do however need to inspect the decomp tube for the infamous "Volcano" scenario...
here is info on that: https://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?...07#pid1807

Oh wow I’ve never seen that before on any of the trucks I run but Geezus !!!! Yeah I’m talking about that SCR can on the end but as far as the decomp tube I only got the newer style of filters where it’s got the smaller filters all in one I forgot the name of it but I know they call the older filter style the {name removed} or something like that? I’m gonna have these filters cleaned out and make sure they got a good amount of flow / flow tested. This things been regenerating like crazy
