RE: Coolant returning to surge tank continuously No, you'll get 95% of the green out when you drain it, that's good enough.

RE: Coolant returning to surge tank continuously I purchased the red extended life coolant but all I can find is coolant filters with additives in them. Will those work or will it be too much additives?

RE: Coolant returning to surge tank continuously Rip off Napa had the non additive filter which no one seemed to have.Ended up draining the coolant, filling up the system with 12 gallons of distilled water and then letting the engine cool off overnight.Drained the water in the morning and replaced all of the coolant hoses minus the one coming out of the surge tank.Constant torque clamps are hard to find but I’m wondering if regular clamps can be used in the future if I can’t find the constant torque ones? Changed out the coolant filter and filled up the system with red coolant.
