RE: Amazon’ Fleetguard LF1400NN
Well i recently had an interesting trip to my local Pete dealer. While picking up some other parts I asked about filter prices since I'm running low on stock at home. LF14000NN was about $70 and FF5776 about $80. About average for what I've seen on the oil filter, a bit high on the fuel filter though. So I asked if they do bulk discounts. Well after a very brief back and forth I got a case of each (6 per case), for 50% off. Worked out to $35 for the LF and $38 for the FF -- EXACTLY the same price I have been paying from the Amazon seller the past few years. They are identical to what I've been receiving and the pictures I posted some pages back.

I mention this for 2 reasons 1) the cheap prices online are not necessarily a sign of counterfeit product (do your research and be vigilant) and 2) if you establish a good relationship with a dealer/supplier than you too might be able to get you filters at this price. As a single truck owner I don't buy that much from them, but I've been shopping there for 7 years and always treat them like they are my customer. It was an extra $450 on my bill that day, but those cases will last me a full year so i'll be prepared.
