RE: Overshot's Blog Yes we are going to set the liners at .014. And yes we are going to torqued, with new head bolts, as it has been described in the forum. Thanks to the forum, Mr. Hagg and Rawze I'm now able to tell the mechanic what and how I want it done. And actually know what I'm talking about and why said things need to be done. | |||

RE: Overshot's Blog Here is some pics of my rod, mains & liners. The shiny places I have marked on the liners is where I believe the liners were hitting the head. You can actually feel the wear on some of the liners. 2 & 3 were dancing around and showed fretting on midstop. #5 is where the head gasket was blown, but no sign of freeting. | |||
