RE: Fuel not transferring between tanks on ProStar We jumpered 12volt at pump. Both sending units had continuity check out Ok .a float inside sending unit tube can get stuck or gummed up. I think Right side only reads fuel level in that tank. The left side unit calls for Transfer pump to operate when fuel level drops in left tank. The body Control module is involved in this procedure also. I think you need to Replace left side sending unit. We unplugged right side tank and put 150ohm resistor in it to get feed back to gauge ,gauge worked. Also check for pinched hose or clogged breather vent.

RE: Fuel not transferring between tanks on ProStar Problem fixed itself! I think the right side fuel sending unit float became stuck when I filled the tank right to the neck... Over the past two days the Tri PAC drew down the fuel and I am thinking the crap roads here in Michigan knocked the float lose. Tanks are now equalizing out the way they should. Dodged a bullet! Thanks for everyone's Help!

RE: Fuel not transferring between tanks on ProStar If the problem returns, jump pin 30 to pin 87 to turn on the transfer pump manually. This is much easier than digging around for wiring. We verified our float with a ohm meter, I cannot remember what it should be but I remember mine was sporadic. Sensor Resistance (Full Tanks 29 to 37 ohms) (Empty Tanks 234 to 246 ohms)
