isx 15 exhaust temperature high

Just bought a used 2013 Pete 587 on the way home the dash flashed exhaust temperature high. What could have caused this? There is no check engine light. Thnx in advance

I think so it flashed up and dissapeared so fast.

Mine comes on all the time, nothing to worry about. It is an indicator of high temp's in the exhaust can. Just don't shut down engine until it cools down.

It comes on during passive regen cycles. It is simply telling you not to park under a tree or in tall grass.
