De-mandated... Sensor Question It's coming up on a year since I changed the IMAP in my DD13. After a de-mandate, does that sensor still need to be changed? User's Signature: Dyin' ain't much of a living, driver. Put it down...it can wait.

RE: De-mandated... Sensor Question If the computer in a vehicle does not know the accurate intake air pressure and temp, then it cannot magically calculate the proper fuel-air mix. incorrect reading IMAP = effeciency losses. worse case scenario... A person replaces it and no changes in engine operation or efficiency occur ... They now have a spare sensor in for use in troubleshooting, or to give to someone else to see if it fixed a problem they might be having. I am a hypermiler, so I replace mine once a year just to ensure I am not loosing soemthing. User's Signature: ->: What I post is just my own thoughts and Opinions! --- I AM Full Of S__T!.
