big scare oil pressure freakout

big scare few days ago. Oil pressure goes to 0 and engine alarm. pulling over, oil pressure comes back. Then 1 min later oil pressure goes to 100psi and alarms again. Engi running fine.

beep beep beep beep all night long. oil gauge peged.

next day dealer open and i replace sensor myself in parkinglot while they yell at me for opening hood with wrench in my hand.

all is normal again.

I though engine was blowing up. New oil pressure sensor seems to have fixed it. My stomach was upset all nite.

Same thing happened to me ,One morning startup engine no oil pressure 0 psi , I immediately shut off engine . Then I checked oil level and took cap oil filler off, started up truck and I had blowby pressure. Then I could breathe, got a ride to stealership sensor replaced ,All is good.
