It can be huge. I’m s just depending on how bad they are. Also the nox sensors should be considered because they tell the computer how much egr to use and how much def to put in. Another big part of fuel mileage and operating costs.

u can't clean the imap properly, especially if it is old. It needs to be replaced.

pressure sensor is up inside the head of it.

being cheap about your truck, its health and sensors = nothing but problems and $8,000 scr cans, eaten up turbo, wiped out cams, and all sorts of other problems... take care of things properly or face their consequences.

For X15
Egr temp #5461596
Egr differential #4358939
Exhaust pressure #4928594
Imap I couldn't find but I assume it is the same as the 2350 one.

I didn’t have one at the time but it is sitting waiting for me to pick it up. I was really curious how dirty it was it had a little soot on it. So I cleaned it off will reply forthwith

RE: Cm2250 and CM2350 EGR Tune-up
I've been researching for a few part numbers on different sensors so I could record them for future reference. As I'm reading, a question popped in my head about the IMAP....

I understand they cannot be effectively cleaned. Hell, why wouldn't you just replace it for such a small cost overall? However, I have a question for the de-man guys out there....

- With a proper deman, egr crossover block, or egr block completely, would the IMAP still get sooted up? If so, where would the source be? In theory, once the egr would be pulled from the equation, wouldn't the intake manifold stay clean? I would assume there should not be any soot introduced back into the intake after the proper measures were taken.

With no spot your still getting humidity and some dust intrusion. It is also heat cycled and with electronics heat cycles cause degradation

No it won't get soot covered any longer if your blocked off correctly it stays nice and clean.
