So getting new idler and replacing scissor gear as it damaged that as well the idler had been walking back and forth on the bearing. Got lucky I guess that gear could froze and sent valves in pistons I would have told him to not put the scissor gear back on, put the normal one on. Much less problems and lasts longer. | RE: CM870 Blue Haze Idk what they ordered for Monday but I told him to put on updated gear whether he listens is his problem most of this info isn't put out by Cummins it seems so mechanics don't order redesigns they just order the part they take off.
