2014 W900. Day Running Lights Could anyone tell me how to kill the DRL? I removed a fuse that says DRL but they are still on. I understand there is a module but I have no idea where is it at.

RE: 2014 W900. Day Running Lights I can't help on this one. But I have to ask, why do you want to disconnect them?

RE: 2014 W900. Day Running Lights If memory serves me right, there is some kind of mandatory safety issue/regulation thing Maybe pushed by the manufacturers? on this with trucks beyond a certain year. unsure though. RE: 2014 W900. Day Running Lights A lot of states require you to have headlights on when the wipers are on. Virginia is well known to enforce this law. DRL has kept me in compliance even when I forget to flip the headlight switch.

RE: 2014 W900. Day Running Lights I did this on mine cause I wanted my DRL to be on a seperate light instead of my actual headlight, above my clutch pedal there is a sensor in one of the airlines that's labelled for DRL, unplug the switch and run a jumper wire on the plug, tape it and call it a day. May be able to use esa to disable it as well but I havent played with it yet. User's Signature: I'm no mechanic, I'm just a guy that breaks down enough to know a bit.

RE: 2014 W900. Day Running Lights The main reason I want to disconnect them is because I want to be able to control the lights. If someone is passing me I like to let them know when is safe by turning them off or on day time, the other is because most times I am getting in to the yard at dark and I hate lighting people when not necessarily, I just installed LED lights and they are bright!! I got this truck from NY and it was from Canada that is the reason it has the DRL, Brock thanks I’ll try it tomorrow
