RE: Need help please 2014 to 2016 Mx 13 vs Cummins isx reliability rofl ok...well see how much that warranty costs you in downtime vs buying the part and fixing it yourself. plus dealers cant fix a headlight right and you want to trust em with your engine. Not talking down to you, just telling you the truth. Have you ever even owned a truck before? If you take care of a truck, learn how it works, especially these emission motors and invest that warranty money into tools and diagnostic equipment, and you should have plenty left over for a trip to the islands if you stick to the basic tools, you will never need a warranty. Most of the repairs on these trucks are simple maintenance, there is that word again, sensor replacements, servicing and not driving the truck like a dummy, like lugging the motor or abusing it in other ways. You need some tools, the diagnostics, which Cummins gives you those for free, and the ability to get your hands dirty and do the work yourself. Only you will care enough to do the job properly, a dealer could care less, plenty of stories here to back up that comment.
