RE: Cops with "idle" time Back in the day, drivers referred to it as "the communist state". Some things never change. When the length law was 55 ft. and speed limit 55, the favorite tool was a tape measure and a radar gun. We use to sneek in the middle of the night over the border because 62 ft was easy to spot and a sure $300 ticket.
