CCV box spring flapper

Would it be worth it to remove this spring flapper, and not have any restriction of crankcase gases?
I am using maintenance free filter, which is also drilled.
In other words, is that likely to stick and cause excess cc pressure? Thanks

I have not seen where one does, myself.

Maintenance free inserts are not restricted therefore no drilling of holes is necessary. If in fact you have high crankcase pressure faults need to do a blow by test and then eliminate what is causing it… turbo, air compressor or base engine.
