RE: calterm help You make it sound like you just need to go in with c a l t e r m and turn a couple switches off and voila you can go get an ice cream cone. It doesn't work that way. There are about 25,000 parameters in the file and you need to correctly change about 10% of them. Get on Rawze's mumble server and ask questions if you want to learn but just know, it isn't a quick 30 minute ordeal to learn this stuff. So called "tuning" with efi live or hpt is a complete joke and not at all how things are done properly. I'm not claiming to be a tuning expert but I can tell you for sure that those programs are useless unless you need them for a specific vehicle that c a l t e r m won't work with to copy the program out of.

RE: calterm help I completely get that. I know it’s just isn’t turning stuff off in the ecm I know it needs to be done right I didn’t want to pay for some botch tune if I can learn and do it right I’ll go for it, I have all the meta files and everything to get it to the truck

It sounds to me that you more likely need access to my mumble server rather than my forum... BE PREPARED to find out that you likely have some bad habits if you have been tinkering around with engines in HPT, EFI, Winols, Ezlink, and other trash tuning softwares, etc. If you want to learn how things actually work ... how the the ecm, the engine, and the programming, etc.. then my Mumble (voice-chat) server is the place to learn and discuss it properly. --------------- If someone wants to discuss and learn more about engine/ecu programming, Calterm, etc... That is what my mumble voice-chat server is for. It is far easier to discuss engine settings, share my screen, review programming together, etc. on mumble, than it is to just text chat about it on the forum. Join us over on mumble. The mumble voice-chat app is available on PC or phone, and that is all that is needed. The program is free, and it is free to join and participate. On the PC, the program is called 'Mumble'. On the smart-phone it is called 'Mumla', or 'Plumble', or 'Mumble', it depends on the brand of phone. The server is private and unlisted, so it has to be added manually the first time. The server address to connect with is 'mumble.rawze.com'. Here is a link to the mumble software for the PC: https://www.mumble.info/ Here is also some additional info for setting up mumble / getting onto my private server specifically: http://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?t...63#pid2163 User's Signature: ->: What I post is just my own thoughts and Opinions! --- I AM Full Of S__T!.
