SPN 3360 FMI 9 and SPN 3216 FMI 9 2012 Cascadia with a CM 2250. Getting these two codes (almost always together) sporadically. Sometimes can go several days with nothing, then codes will pop up for several days in a row. Normally just getting MIL light, but lately have been getting actual check engine with a torque derate on and off along with the codes. Truck has a little over 1 mil miles, around 400,000 since inframe. DPF and DOC cleaned within last few months. I'm thinking it's a short/wiring issue, but just not sure where to start on it. Any ideas??[/size]

RE: SPN 3360 FMI 9 and SPN 3216 FMI 9 SPN 3360 FMI 9 = cummins fault 3597? - Def controller intermittent connection?. 3216 FMI 9 = cummins fault 3597? - NOx1 sensor intermittent?. sounds to me like a corroded plug or rubbed wire under the truck somewhere. RE: SPN 3360 FMI 9 and SPN 3216 FMI 9 Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Guess it's just gonna be an Easter Egg hunt. Fun, fun. Wonder how many miles of wiring are in these things? lol
