RE: Injectors A couple of weeks ago ,our T700 with a 2250, began miss-firing intermittently. My son hooked up Insight and found it had thrown code 0325. The code states low voltage from #6 injector solenoid. We opened Cummins quick serve and followed the trouble shooting procedure. Found one wire loose on top of the solenoid, tightened it down. After 200 miles problem came back and began getting worse. The only thing that we could determine was that the solenoid on #6 injector was bad. We called several dealers and found that the solenoid was bulit into the injector & not serviceable. The truck was under a load near Shreveport Louisana. Cummins dealer in Shreveport had the injector. Found a truck stop nearby, so with flashlight in hand. Using Insight from home was able to walk my son thru bleeding pressure, installing the injector, entering the trim codes, and finally pressure testing the system. That has been 3000 miles ago and all seems fine. WITH OUT THIS FORUM we could not have accomplished this. Insight and Quickserve were both a result of being a member here. Special thanks to: Allison at Mr Haggs shop Rawze tips on how to accomplish this Unilevers for the help with Insight T700[/size] | |||
