Barrel and plungers - 4327258 - 80$ x 2

pump head gasket - 2872513 - $20 x1
banjo washer - 3962988 - x2
banjo washer - 3963990 - x2

this gives you a idea
Are these actually the price. Seems super cheap. Like why would anyone neglect this.

RE: CM2250/CM2350 Fuel Pump
Because unless you come here and read through posts about your particular engine theres not really any information telling people about the issue. Cummins would never put out information like this as it would be admitting they are using a crap product that doesnt last as long as it should, dealerships wont tell you as it would decrease the likely hood of you buying that truck with that engine, and the rest of the internet there isnt that much info maybe 2-3 youtube videos.

and when it comes to fuel systems if your not here whats most peoples experience that maybe towards the end of life of a system the fuel components start to die. most people only know that injectors tend to fail earlier in life at most.

average seems to be about 500-600k lifespan (or equivalent engine hours). I recommend changing the guts every 400k because of this.

I remember one guy, he scoffed at me, had around 600,000 miles on his. Most guys have no clue, and don't want to hear it.

RE: CM2250/CM2350 Fuel Pump
My truck has 901,000 miles on the original 3 cylinder pump. It is sitting in my shed right now and will be replaced here this summer. I have an updated 2 cylinder pump ready to go into the truck.

I am going to post a thread on here when I do it and tear apart the 3 cylinder to see inside it. The only thing I have to add with this is that the guy who had it before me did 10,000 mile oil changes its whole life. That I do know...

It's always appreciated when people post the details of what they replaced and ran into along the way.
Pictures of the process are always nice too.

I got 420k ish on mine b4 it failed and cummins bought me a new crate engine. 0 warning either. One day it was running fine pulling 90k lbs then all the sudden i had oil psi issues caused from the shrapnel.
