I run a 2002 CM570 , I believe that if You run this engine wisely , The Rawze way
Gear Oil, proper Overhead Adjustment, Clean inspect or Replace Injector, metering actuators , It’s a bulletproof engine.
I run a Reefer from Mn to Tx every week gross out every way , I just ran 1008 miles put on 150 gallons 6.72 driving 62 mph or slower.
My average mpg is 7.87 , but new XDN2 super singles kill about half a mile mpg ,I run this for Winter and run Bridgestone Singles In summer for MPG !
I bought this truck because I drove Cm2250 and CM871 and had many Emissions problems, but know If I had to upgrade I wouldn’t hesitate buying a Cm871 because I learned a lot thanks to Rawze.
My best advice on this truck : Replace main Engine Harness, replace Cam& Crank sensors , Replace all Fuel lines , Replace all Injectors if over 500k , Replace Actuators Fuel, Meter if over 500k , rebuild IFSM and replace fuel pressure valves .
Replace Harmonic Balancer and use nothing but Cummins genuine parts!
Install a Turbo boost & Pyro Gauges.
I’ve done all this and I have successfully got over a Million miles , Thanks Rawze!
