CM871 Turbo on CM2250 I remember seeing a thread on this subject but I cannot find it now. I am looking to install the CM871 turbo on my CM2250. My turbo started pushing a little bit of oil and I am not a gambling man. Who can retune the truck for that turbo? I believe I tried sending a message to a member before and never received a response. Truck is demandated. Maybe that someone can take a look at the tune itself. There is a hill in TN that my truck likes to boost to 39-40 psi.

RE: CM871 Turbo on CM2250 Also, I am going off the OEM gauge in the truck. I should probably verify this with an analog gauge

RE: CM871 Turbo on CM2250 is it deleted and if so by who? if the tuning isnt from someone here it probably is hitting 39psi and killing itself User's Signature: 2010 Lonestar - CM871 - 13sp - 3.70s, 2016 T680 - cm2350 - 13sp - 3.36s - skateboarder

Maybe if I buy Rawze enough beer he will teach me a couple things so I can test them out on my truck., Tuning related that is

RE: CM871 Turbo on CM2250 Aleeex, why would you do this? The 871 turbo, as Rawze already told you is unusable on a 2250. Why put on a bigger turbo if the motor can’t handle the extra boost it will generate. As I understand it the stock has no problem with supplying enough boost in any condition. Talk to Magard, he did this very thing. And I think he said it was a waste of time. (Magard please correct me if I am wrong) Just my .02. I pull up to 105K gross just fine with my 2250, stock turbo, and properly demandated. User's Signature: Anti-seize EVERYTHING, Except injectors...Use Petroleum Jelly!!!

And I am not after more boost. I want to test a theory that I have, and this has been done. No one really talks about it. I just checked my messages and I sent a message to Unilevers over a year ago. Maybe he will see this thread?

RE: CM871 Turbo on CM2250 http://www.myholsetturbo.com/holsethe400.html an He561 flows a lot more air than a he400 Its possible that I wont even need to run as much boost to make the same power. Less boost = less intake temps
