The diagram showcases a 14 pin connector, that comes from the water-in-fuel sensor. That's what I traced to. This 14pin then splits off and goes to ECM connector A and B. For example: ECM, OEM connector, pin 24 is connected to WATER IN FUEL SENSOR as SIGNAL. ECM, OEM connector, pin 26 is return (ground) for WATER IN FUEL sensor. This is where you need to start troubleshooting harness. From ECM harness plug OEM pin 24 to sensor pin "signal" - continuity. Same pin to the ground or + 5 v pin - infinity. ECM plug OEM pin 26 to sensor pin "return" - continuity 14 pin connector you referring for is optional. I don't have it on my Volvo. You have it but numbers of wires different. On other brand it could be 10 pin connector. If you 100% sure the connector is right check the continuity between sensor and 14 pin plug, from 14 pin plug to ECM OEM connector pins. All connectors must be disconnected and battery too. | |||
