RE: CM871 to CM570 swap
what it is telling you is that ...

378,396 = The metering actuators are not the right coil resistance.
394,398 = The Timing actuators are not the right coil resistance.

If you have the CM570 ecm on it.. and you have a CM570 engine.. then YOU NEED THE CORRECT CM570 IFSM MODULE (that contains the correct metering and timing solenoids) and not one off of a CM871.

Seems like maybe that someone swapped the IFSM (integrated fuel supply module) from a CM871 or CM870 onto that CM570 engine?.

If you try to use the IFSM off the CM871.. it will have the wrong injection timing and the wrong fuel quantities.

Go put the correct IFSM module for a CM570 onto the engine and those codes will go away.

Otherwise.. if it is 100%, a genuine CM570 IFSM module, and you have verified the fuel and timing solenoids to be FOR A CM570 and not something else.. then you simply need to update the software to the latest version from cummins for it.

the one thing you do NOT want to do is hack-job the programming into using the wrong type of solenoids on it. it will not have the correct injection timing or fuel quantities etc. There is a reason they are different part numbers and different coil resistances.

ALSO::: that truck now needs to be re-registered as a 'glider' for it to be legal to drive in the USA. etc.
