Isn't she purdy. They're installing the alignment dowels a plug on the bottom side and all the hardware that goes on it before it goes into the truck. I'm working on replacing the electric fuel pump on the ifsm pressure regulator pressure sensor temperature sensor diaphragms and making sure it's all clean inside of it. Figured I'd do it all while it's off the engine
Were you able to get a brand new one?
yeah came in the heavy duty crate. also had to install the alignment dowels on the intake side which they said the remans always have installed already.
Is the truck still in Rockwell city? I'm not too far away if you need anything. Let me know! I
no that was a rental they towed me another truck and i finished my week and gave up on the rental crap just going to the shop every day this week to help get mine back together.
Ok. I'm about 60 miles from there so just thought I'd check!
np thanks for the offer! granted i would never sit someplace that long lol tow truck as soon as its broke and if i cant fix the issue.
What are your liner heights sitting at? Did you pull them and raise them to .014"?

Remember to do the initial torque on the head bolts the leave it sit over night. Then retorque them. Then do the final torque.
Head Is in 2nd torque done overhead done. I'm almost finished rebuilding my cm870 ifsm since mine stripped the fuel pressure sensor hole. As far as I can tell only difference is no doser connection. Took a plug out of the front to install connection for computer plate.
