Out of curiosity, how often do these tuner get in contact with you to see their mistakes and make an effort to correct them? Can’t even imagine how many just keep going on to tune for others and put the blame on anything but their tune

- It does not happen. People who do bad programming always curse me out and make a big stink in an arrogant stance that 'they can do no wrong' because 'no one else complains'.. while they tear up more engines on a daily basis. Its an absolute plague.

Its like the 30+ year veteran mechanic that works in the shop... tightening cylinder head bolts with a pair of rusty, worn out pliers, destroying everything they touch, chewing up heads bolts, etc.. ... and when you walk in and politely offer to hand them a proper torque wrench, socket, etc. (for free nonetheless),.. its the same thing.

Replies are always nothing but hostility, anger, and sheer narcissism. This is what you get in return for even daring to ask them something nonetheless point out serious mistakes. All you achieve by trying to be helpful is a bunch of excuses and chest pumping claims of 'They have been doing it this way for XX years' .. so 'Who the f%k are you for questioning' their superiority ... and that you, not them, are the one who is the problem for even considering that they might not know how to set or do something properly.
