... also, I would not have purchased a 'deleted' truck unless the person was giving it away almost for free + you had enough moneys to spare on it to properly inframe the engine right away. MOST delete programming is absolutely harmful to the engine internals.. and this is before some idiot even turns up the power.

You also need to take a hard look at what mechanical changes were made ...

== Does it still have the VGT turbo on it?. .. if not then that is your next move.. to re-install the VGT onto it.

== Does it have blocking plate between manifold and front of egr cooler?. - Does it have one at the intake where the egr pipe comes across? ... Does it even have the EGR cooler still on it or at least a bypass pipe to allow proper coolant flow to the back of the block??.

== Are all 3 cans fully hollow all the way to the bare metal (DOC/DPF/SCR)?... or just some half-arsse holes drilled thru the elements and now are reflecting a lot of heat back at the engine/turbo?.

== what is the boost getting to in a hard pull?. - Does it even have a boost gauge on it?

.. so on and so fourth.
