Trying to know what to look for before I ever have a pan down. Thanks. I have been involved in quite a few rebuilds, and have never seen this issue myself. I would also tend to think that if this was an issue in an engine, the crank shaft damper was likely also going bad allowing for higher frequency vibrations... I.E.> lack of proper replacement of the crank shaft damper at recommended intervals. .. just thoughts.
