Cummins insite problems
Hello wondering if anyone can help me. I have Cummins insite 9.3.22 and it worked fine a few days ago now it won’t read any sensor data. I’m trying to do a hi pressure fuel leak down test and I can’t monitor the fuel pressure because it won’t read the sensor data in the data logger/monitor. It says “the parameter defined for the selected group are not supported by the current calibration” and no help on the issue offered. I have reset the computer a bunch of times and redid the inline connection again a few times, everythIng else works fine I can do all the ecm tests and read fault codes and check for ecm updates. I’m wondering if it wants me to update the truck ecm calibration? And if so the truck is De mandated so will an ecm update wipe that tuning out? Truck is a 2020 Pete with x15 500hp efficiency, ser# 80207505 current ecm code is HD10428.09 and has an update available HD10428.11.

RE: Cummins insite problems
assume the programming is bad. More than 90%+ of all de-mandate programming out there is garbage and harmful to the engine.
Copy the ecm program from the engine and e-mail it to me for a review of what someone did in there. for all you know, that might be exactly why some systems are not reading correctly.

Alright thanks rawze, I’ll see if I can figure it out how to get the program copied out ,not very good with the computer stuff, and don’t have cal term yet …I do have the laptop and insite and pass through Cummins inline connection box thing, if someone could do it remotely that might be the best way to go about it so I don’t mess anything up, scared to death of bricking my ecm or something going wrong. That’s fine if I have to pay someone to do it $$$ ,,after reading about bad deletes on here i am wondering if my engines being destroyed with this tune as well……
