Need all the info I can get on this motor. It’s been deleted and that’s about all I know. It’s runs good and strong. Around 1million miles
It's a cm871 with a demandate program that needs to be copied out of the ECM and sent to Rawze for a review before you do ANYTHING else with the truck.

With a million miles on it it's time for an inframe, new balancer and possibly new cams as well.

That's all you need to know about it right now lol.
Maybe set up a Cummins Quickserve account as well. Plenty of serial number specific info there for your engine.

What do you mean exactly by demandate? I have 3 other trucks 2007 t600 with c15. I’ve had isx before in my 02 03 international back in the day. I’ve ran the overhead and serviced it and drive it today. It ran awesome and is getting around 6.7 ton7 mpg. According to my scan gauge I use in my trucks. This truck has 3.55 in it with a 10 speed. The turbo is only 20k miles on it. Not sure about an oh or exactly how many miles are in it. Im guess right at 1 million. The dash shows it but the computer shows 115k. lol so who knows. I was told it’s deleted and it is. Everything is gone except for the egr. I change my oil every 10 k. I’m a local grain hauler within a 150 mile radius usually. I told my guy I need a copy of the files on my ecm to send to rawze!!?? If so I will be working on it. Id love to know if the tune that’s in it now is safe. I’m all about fuel mileage and enough power to get the job done and keep my motor safe. Whatever kind of tune or oem setting that is. Thank you for the help. I know my accerts but want to stay up on the cm871. Thank you
I bought this dude for nothing. The guy was needing money bad I guess.
Post a picture of the turbo side of the engine.

De-mandate = Del%ted.

That red engine is nothing whatsoever like any other brand of engine.

More then 90% of all de-mandate programs are very harmful to the engine ... progressively eating the guts out of it, running the engine in the wrong operating modes, etc.etc.. and it eventually causing one or more of turbo failures, dropped liners (blown head gasket), accelerated valve seat wear,. cracked piston, etc.etc... several problems that are directly caused by 'Deleting' the programming improperly. It also has nothing to do with the power levels programmed into it. A bad delete program can tear up a red engine, even with it set at minimum HP.

The chances of it having an actually safe program in it is less than 10% ... so it is not worth the gamble or any assumptions.

Like has already been said... copy the program from the ecm and e-mail it to me to ensure it is not harmful to the engine.

and yeah... is the VGT turbo still on it?... what as done at the exhaust?... And is the EGR cooler still there?... a lot of unanswered questions that a pic or 2 of the exhaust side of the engine will answer. for all anyone knows, you might have a big bag of worms on your hands there, as there are too many places that abuse these red engines badly, do half-arssed red-neck mods not worth doing to a lawn-mower.. and a whole lot of other stupid things that should NOT be done to a $40,000+ commercial engine.

(looking at the pic you sent)...

At least it has the EGR cooler, VG turbo and other stuffs needed to keep it running ok. That is a plus.. however, that oil pan looks completely rotted out. It needs replacing ASAP!>lol
