Oil change time for new to me truck I'm going to doing my first oil change since buying this truck (13 w900 with ISX de-leted). I've read on here that the engine likes high zinc oil so I was going to use Rotella T4 and was thinking about adding some of this for an extra bump: https://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-product/m...e=BRKQT-EA Good idea or no? Read it and decide for yourself, but there seems to be no discernible downside to this approach. I went with Sta-Lube because NAPA can get it, and they're close to me. As a side note- If you have any sort of oil leaking from the head, you will smell gear oil from time to time!

Not sure I would trust a "break-in" oil so much and it is also difficult to get zinc additives that do not contain ceramics. here is an old post on just this discussion... http://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?t...831#pid831 User's Signature: ->: What I post is just my own thoughts and Opinions! --- I AM Full Of S__T!.
