RE: ISX and Bypass Oil Filter Systems Instead of paying the piper on these over rated over priced bypass systems why not use a high velocity dual flow oil filter from {garbage after-market brand oil filter} for example an isx cm2350 takes a {part# removed} it has a 5 micron nominal and 20 micron absolute rating. And change your oil according to Rawze's chart. Just my 2 cents... No rocket science involved

No rocket science involved I can only assume you are completely clueless about oil filters and their problems with these engines.. otherwise you likely would not have suggested that particular after-garbage brand on my forum. Seems that you have gotten caught up into, and are unfortunately, regurgitating some of that salesmans garbage that some idiot has pushed into your brain at some point there. Don't even remotely suggest using those after-garbage Baldwin (or other) oil filters on an ISX here on my forum!!!>... --- i have seen waay too many people that have had SEVERE AND CATASTROPHIC ENGINE DAMAGE BY RUNNING AFTERGARBAGE OIL FILTERS ON THEIR ISX'S... here is some reading for your education there, and to cure that short-sighted idea that you seem to have gotten yourself into ... http://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?t...0#pid58970 and... http://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?t...8#pid67798 and... http://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?t...4#pid25854 and... http://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?t...9#pid42769 and... http://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?t...1#pid60321 and... http://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?t...4#pid52164 and... http://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?t...2#pid22182 and... Hopefully, you get the point. Also, just to let you know.. fleetguard (oem) filters also have the same or better internal (less than 5-micron) double feature designed into them, the same way as you described.. so stop drinking the damn cool-aide advertisement trash. RE: ISX and Bypass Oil Filter Systems What a warm welcome to the forum! I am absolutely not advocating for Baldwin filters whatsoever. I was just using the micron numbers for an example. never got brainwashed or drank any bad kool aid I'll look into getting some fleetguards. STOP YELLING!!!
