I'm considering making a bench harness to connect to this cm870 ecm. Has anyone ever made their own? Or is it cheaper to buy one

These are sold all over the internet and eBay. You can get the basic idea on what you need and how to do it by looking at what guys are selling.

You can get the Deutsche connectors on Amazon.
