EGR tuneup So I’ve watched the EGR tuneup video. Just have a quick question. It didn’t show you cleaning the pipes and such. Do you use the carb/choke cleaner and like a wire brush or something to clean them? | |||

RE: EGR tuneup Yes, you need to clean the piping. I used Palmolive dishwashing liquid, the green colored. I picked up a toilet bowl brush, and it all came clean. Ok I wasn’t sure if I should use any cleaner. I was just reading Rawze’s article about it and he said using cleaner can cause it to collect soot even faster afterwards. Maybe it depends on what you use. | |||
