Crankshaft Adapter Hub REMOVAL\ INSTALL

Going to be doing this in the next day or two. I am interested in how to line up(install) crankshaft gear as there is no marks or dowel pins to line it up from what I can see and what I see in quickserve. I did buy (ordered and hopefully it will be here tomorrow) the 4918314 locating gauge but from what I see in quickserve that only aligns the depth of the gear when installing on the crankshaft. There isn't much information or videos of this on the web. This will be my first time doing this on an isx 15 and with the crankshaft still in the block. I haven't even been able to find a real picture of the locating gauge. Thanks in advanced.

Cannot remember but I do know that I did not replace the dowel pin. It was in place when I replaced mine.

Here is my debacle. Not as hard as it seems to replace to be honest.
