If you will buy me 8 of those at that price, I'll give you $50 a tire commission. :)

are they good for over the road

I find them to be a good all purpose tire. I cant really attest to any fuel efficiency properties because i run balls to the wall all day and 80-85k lbs. I will say if they continue with their current wear rate i wont hesitate to buy another set.

I have had others say and offer similar things to me. My carrier has the account and records the serial numbers on the tires for the tractor. This is because they track every serial number for tires so they can catch thieves stealing trailer and tractor tires. Every time i buy a new one, they want the old serial number and the new one as it goes on before they will approve a purchase. I don't have to buy through them, I own my truck, but at that kind of discount, I will hassle with it.

They get that pricing because they have 2,000 trucks and 4,000 trailers.

Company I drive for uses the Michelin XDN2 tires for the drives on a national account. I just had all drives replaced and will say so far very happy with them. We do tanker mainly highway roads in MN.

Kind of figured that. That's a great price. I need new ones soon. I'll probably end up spending about $4000 or so.

I trust you're not buying tires from a truck stop? Those guys will rape you.

I get to use my company Bridgestone account, but I don't see that kind of savings. I wish!

Luckily because of the amount of tires I have on my unit, and the fact that I do my own tire work and rotate tires frequently they don't even waste their time tracking me that close.
I made the decision a while ago to pull the pin on my current contract and have been stockpiling tires at the fleet discount for some time. I have 16 new and 8 new recaps in stock in my storage container at this time. I wish I could have put another set of drives and steers away as well...oh well...
I just put a skid of 5gal pails of Shell oil away as well. The spring oil sale was pretty decent this year at $12/pail off, so I stocked up...
Now seeking a super filter discount.
